Day 1: Snæfellsnes Peninsula & Kirkjufell Day Tour (08:00 – 19:00)
Start your journey at 08:00 with a full-day exploration of the breathtaking Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called “Iceland in Miniature” for its diverse landscapes. Visit the charming village of Arnarstapi, where you can walk along the dramatic coastline and enjoy a relaxing lunch break. Marvel at the black pebbled beach of Djúpalónssandur, with its stunning ocean views. Take in the iconic sight of Kirkjufell, one of Iceland’s most photographed mountains, before ending the land portion of your adventure at Berserkjahraun, a dramatic lava field with a fascinating history. The tour lasts approximately 11 hours, returning to Reykjavik in the evening.
Day 2: Whale Watching Tour (09:00 – 12:30)
The next morning, embark on a thrilling 3-3.5 hour whale-watching tour departing from Reykjavik’s Old Harbour at 09:00. Cruise into Faxaflói Bay, where expert guides will help you spot Minke and Humpback whales, dolphins, harbour porpoises, and even the rare Killer whale. Enjoy breathtaking views of Reykjavik’s surrounding mountains and islands while keeping an eye out for vibrant birdlife.

- Please note that during the darkest winter months (December & January), Ytri Tunga will not be included due to limited daylight hours. Be sure to bring warm clothes, sturdy shoes, and a packed lunch, as food is not provided during the day tour.

- Whale watching – Please meet us directly at Geirsgata 11, Special Tours ticket office in Reykjavik Old Harbour pier, 30 minutes before departure.
